It has excellent resistance to both oxidizing and reducing acids, to stress-corrosion cracking and to localise attack such as pitting and crevice corrosion. The alloy are especially resistant to phosphoric and sulphuric acid. Alloy 28 Seamless Pipes is used for pollution control equipment, chemical processing, nuclear fuel reprocessing, oil and gas well piping, acid production and pickling equipment. Alloy 28 tubes are cold worked to high strength levels for downhole services in moderately corrosive deep, sour gas wells get at affordable price in India.
